I am a science journalist, inspired by our Earth and its diverse, interconnected ecosystems. My passion is to educate and engage lay audiences about the seriousness of our climate crisis, while encouraging hope in our efforts to reduce our human impact. I want every listener and reader of my work to truly understand the beauty of Earth and its inhabitants and discover a yearning to protect that beauty. I believe that sound is one of the best ways to do this; sounds bring life and nostalgia to journalism, and podcasting/broadcast provides an information network that is easy for even the busiest listeners to engage.
